The Japanese government is planning to announce an online PCR checking system in which people can not only search the clinic to test PCR but also reserve the appointment in advance. The result of the test will be sent to a personal smartphone so that people can check the digital data immediately.

The service will target business travelers first and will apply in common use soon. People have to choose the place and clinic first, and register the name, passport, test time, etc.

The government is soliciting medical institutions that can carry out PCR tests for business travel and aims to secure more than 3,000 tests per day.
