The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the foreign residents, including international students and business people, will be permitted to re-enter Japan from August 5th. The criteria are that people should leave Japan before the entry ban starts amid the novel coronavirus outbreak.
According to the Japanese government, there are among 90,000 individuals will be granted re-entry into Japan. These individuals will take necessary procedures at Japanese embassies, and people have to provide the necessary documents before entering the country. People will be required to take the PCR test as well as stay in self-isolation for 14 days.
