According to EU council agrees to ease travel restrictions from Japan and 13 other countries, the Spanish government has decided to gradually lift the restrictions on travelers via external borders to Spain to the residents of the 15 non-EU countries. The list includes Japan, Algeria, Australia, Canada, China, Georgia, Montenegro, Morocco, New Zealand, Rwanda, Serbia, South Korea, Thailand, Tunisia and Uruguay. In the case of Morocco, Algeria and China, the reopening of borders is subject to these countries acting reciprocally by reopening their borders to residents in Spain.

The Spanish Ministry of Health may ask travelers to provide health condition check declaration. From July 1st, 2020, if people fly to Spain from other countries, it is mandatory to fill out and sign the FCS form associated with their trip, regardless of their nationality, age or any other consideration. This form must be completed by each of the passengers who will be responsible for ensuring that the information provided is true and accurate.

Before traveling to Spain, make sure to have signed the form, on the web spth.gob.es or in the mobile app. With this, people will get the Health QR Code that they will have to show (paper or mobile) at the airport health control to be able to continue their trip.
