Denmark opens up to inbound travel from Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea, and Thailand from July 4th. Denmark only opens its borders to countries on the EU’s safety country list. “Some countries outside the EU will not have the same reliable data on testing and infection that we are used to in Denmark and the EU. Therefore, some national safety values are needed to evaluate so that we can be sure that infection is not let loose.” said a secretary at Denmark’s foreign ministry.

When the tourists hold the visitors’ visa into Denmark, they have to show up that they will stay at least 6 nights in advance. On the other hand, Denmark’s foreign ministry said it would also continue to advise Danish residents against unnecessary travel to six countries, while the Japanese government imposes immigration restrictions and 14 days quarantine requirements. It the requirements are lifted, the travel light will turn from Orange to Yellow.

As of 8:00 am on July 2, the number of new coronavirus cases in Denmark was 13,015 and the number of death was 606.
