After lifting the “Tokyo Alert” restriction, people gradually back to normal life and commute to office from last week. According to the data, transportation usage is twice higher than the previous month. However, the density of the population on public transportation may cause the virus infection problem again. To avoid traffic congestion, JP EASE RAILWAY COMPANY (JR EAST) and Yahoo are rapidly developing a “dense” avoidance technology to present the congestion status.
JR EAST collects the traffic congestion data of air pressure in the car for measuring the density situation. Yahoo may use AI technology to calculate the data from the route data history of users. Those aims are decreasing the possibility of infection and encourage people to take public transportation without fear.
The government also encourage people and company to shift the working hour or keep working from home for avoiding cluster infection.
