China will close the borders to avoid the foreigners to enter the country starting from Saturday. The government is concerned that the over rising imported cases of novel coronavirus will increase the outbreak again.

Foreign nationals currently holding Chinese Visa or residency permits will be temporarily banned from entering the country until further notice.

The government is suspending all visa-free transit and visa-on-landing programs. However, people holding diplomatic passports are exempted from the new rule.
