Zhejiang Province CCPIT supports Japanese companies to overcome the pandemic situation

According to the Coronavirus-related news report from the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) hold an online web meeting with Shitsuoka Fukai office (浙江省靜岡福井事務局) on March 10th.

There were 800 people, included 110 Japanese local enterprises, who attended the web meeting to discuss the company prevention work and return to work strategy. Many enterprises are temporarily halting production in response to the spread of COVID-19 which would affect companies to worry about the high costs and sales dropping.

Therefore, the Vice President of CCPIT, Xu Yong, mentioned that the government with related departments were facing the difficulties together and setting the new policy strategy to solve the pandemic problem.

In early February, when the pandemic hit Zhejiang severely, Shizuoka County provided prevention products such as masks and clothing to Zhejiang Province immediately, with warm concern for the situation recovering. Later, due to the spread of the pandemic in Japan, the Zhejiang Province also prepared emergency supplies through the Shanghai office of Shizuoka Prefecture helping Japan to overcome the pandemic situation.

Xu Yong said the CCPIT will fully support foreign companies to overcome difficulties and enhance the cooperation relationship to get recovery as soon as possible.
