The number of international travelers to Japan declined by over 99.9% in almost all markets compared to previous years. The Japanese government has imposed entry restrictions and suspend many international flights at this time.
According to the report of the Japan Tourism Agency, the oversea resident’s visit to Japan was 99.9% less than last year. There were only 1,700 visits in total.
The number of Japanese resident visits abroad was 5,539 in May which was 99.9% less than last year.
