Japan is planning to allow travelers from Vietnam entry starting this summer. The government is considering allowing 250 Vietnam business travelers to enter if they prove COVID-19 negative in two health tests upon departure and arrival. Once permitted into the country, visitors’ movements would be restricted to areas including place of stay, company offices and factories, and the use of public transportation would be banned.
In addition, flights from Thailand, Australia, and New Zealand are also taking consideration for reopening.
